Two men charged in Leamington bike theft
Two men have been charged in a Leamington bike theft, dating back to June.
Last month, OPP launched a 'bait bicycle' initiative, looking to address bike thefts in the municipality. The initiative saw a bike placed and arresting anyone who attempted to take it, according to police.
As a result, two men have been charged.
A 33-year-old Leamington man is facing charges for theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, and possession of break-in instruments.
A 51-year-old Leamington man is facing charges for theft under $5,000, theft under $5,000 – shoplifting, mischief under $5,000, or possession of break-in instruments.
